Switch box, manual, 25 D, 2 way, crossover.

Crossover switching. Connects A to a and B to b, OR A to b and B to a.
Connections on the box are female.

All internal lines are connected so the box is suitable for serial or parallel use.
Only suitable for use where hardware and software will allow manual switching of peripherals etc, otherwise use automatic, bi-tronic or KVM switches.

Suitable leads for various purposes are:

25D male to male - L-RS232MM +LENGTH
25D male to female - L-RS232FM +LENGTH
Parallel printer - L-PCPARPRI + LENGTH

Most parallel printers will only work up to a maximum cable length of 15 metres or less with a switch box connected (some much shorter). Manual switch boxes may not work at all on IEEE1284 printers.
